They practice on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

★WITCHES★

This is the picture of WITCHES. It is the cheerleading club.

They practice on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at arena or NUAS hall.

Gekidan SARU

This is a drama club.


This club has a long history.It was founded in spring, 1991 when NUFS was the third year.


The word "SARU" means "a monkey" in English. It is a unique name, but why is a monkey??
It is a mystery even among the club members.

The adviser is Mr.Sanada and he has been the adviser since the club started.



They act about twice a week from 17:30-20:00 in NUFS 322. Usually, they train for the performances like getting strength or making improvisation.


At the same time, they gave a lot of performances from the start. That is twice a year; at school festivals and in spring. They are not only performers. They are also stuffs and they give lights or sounds. I think it is too hard.

This club has a camp in July and in this club, there are many unique members. You can have a funny time with this event and them.

Whether you have experienced the dramas before or not, you can enjoy this club. Don't be afraid. Half of the members start the drama with this club.

★Wind Orchestra club★

This is the wind orchestra club in NUFS, named Nagoya University of Foreign Studies Wind Orchestra.　　

The number of the club members about 40 people.


This picture is the scene of "annual concert". They held concert regularly.

That is called "annual concert”

They hold this concert every fall at Meitou cultural center next to the Kanmiyasiro station. We can enjoy the concert for free.Last year they played both type of music classic and pops

★TOUCH-FOOTBALL CLUB★

This is the picture of Touch-Football Club.

The adviser of the team is Kohei Miyagawa who is the teacher of the department of Modern English.

The captain of the team is Masato Minamiura who is the 3rd grade student of the department of English.

Members of Touch-Football Club practice on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on school ground .

The club dues cost 1000 yen per a year.

★LACROSSE CLUB★

This is the picture of Lacrosse Club.

The adviser of the team is Keiko Nuruki who is the teacher of the department of English.

The captain of the team is Naoko Kida who is the 4th grade student of the department of English.

Members of Lacrosse Club practice Lacrosse on Mondays, Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on school ground .

The club dues is when it is needed.

SCARAB CLUB

There are their original songs. For example, there is original song named koinohana(コイノハナ).

They seldom sing English song. In fact, there are only 2 English songs.

They often sing at school festival.

★SOCCER CLUB★

I'm really sorry but I couldn't find any pictures of Soccer Club.

So, I use the picture of GACHAPIN. He is so active!!

And the adviser of the club is Akira Inagaki who is the teacher of the department of French.

The captain of the club is Koji Miwa who is the 3rd grade student of the department of English.

Members of Soccer Club practice soccer on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays on school ground from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The club dues cost 500 yen per month but when it is necessary.

★NUFS BASEBALL CLUB★

This picture is the picture of NUFS Baseball Club.

The staff adviser to the team is Toshiaki Kurada. He is a teacher of the Department of Japanese.

The captain is Kenji Nishimura. He is the 3rd grade of the Department of Chinese.

There are 14 people in the team. They practice baseball from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on school ground or Nisshin general park.

The club dues is not planned exactly.

They practice to get promoted a league team. They enjoy it without the relationship of the senior or junior. They welcome people who want to play baseball if he/she have never played it.
